Earlier this week I had had coaching session with Dave Taub about relationship issues I’d been having throughout my life.
He adeptly asked me questions that helped me get to the heart of relationship issues that have been dogging me for years. With keen insight, he helped me make connections between the effect my stepmother had on me and a current relationship problem. He facilitated my coming up with metaphors which visually and emotionally captured the way a current relationship has made me feel.
I was able describe the relationship as ” A fast train coming towards me,” “A hot stove, which will burn me,” and painfully being “beat up by two cymbals coming together.”
Dave was warm supportive as well as refreshingly non-judgmental. Through just one session he helped me immensely and I am sure he could help others as well.
